unid-adm-help – v. 1.x

This is the (revised) output of the command ‘help’ in unid-adm:

The token below always refer to a single-quoted text string without spaces. The commands are followed by some comments prefixed with ‘–‘.

Admin commands:
? abort           -- quits without saving.
? lastrec         -- last SQL command.
? mydb            -- active database.
? quit            -- quits and saves in case of in-memory mode.
? unido   -- runs an administrative task on db.

Tasks:
 adduser ,,, -- adds an user to this db.
 debset  -- sets a function target for debugging output (1=all).
 delid  -- DANGEROUS: deletes an entry by id (only for repairing a corrupted db).
 deluser  -- deletes an user by id (field i of table admin).
 seladmin -- displays contents of admin table.
 setaccess , -- sets authorizations for mentionned user (field a of table admin).

Access levels:
  0   -- read only
 -8   -- read and write
 -16  -- administrator

? setinterspecs  -- DANGEROUS: sets the db output type.
 This action can result in unreadeable output (only for test).

Output types:
 1   -- Command line
 0   -- GUI
-1   -- CGI

? setpass ,<string=password] -- sets the password (encrypted) of a user for this db (field n of table admin).
? setvisible , -- sets the visibility (name) of a record author in results (field r of table admin).

Visibility levels:
 0   -- hidden
 1   -- visible

? unidset -- creates or restores unid default set of records.
? unidtest  -- runs a battery of test on the whole db or on a subset mentionned by id.

SQL help commands:
? select sql_help('') -- prints help on all SQL items (functions, tables, views).
? select sql_help('some_item') -- prints help on the mentionned item.
